Bakersfield-based and owner-run. When you call, you get me — not a call center.
Our Story
I'm Caleb, founder of KWDR and a Bakersfield guy. (Buck Owens is literally my great-grandfather.)
I got into restoration working for a company that ran solid jobs. Water extraction, structural drying, equipment management, insurance documentation — I learned the full scope of the trade and took it seriously. Over time, I developed a clear picture of what I wanted to build when I eventually ran my own operation: my name on it, my standards, my relationship with every homeowner.
KWDR is built from everything I learned — plus the systems I wanted to put in place once I had the chance to design from scratch. Faster response, direct homeowner communication, and a documentation package built with the insurance adjuster in mind from the first hour onsite. When you own the company, you can do it exactly the way you think it should be done.
I run every job myself. When you call that number, you get me — not a dispatcher, not a crew lead who wasn't on the first walk-through. That's not a marketing line. It's how I set the company up on purpose.
The first equipment purchase — the day KWDR went from idea to real.
How We Work
Every job is run by Caleb directly. No call centers, no upselling, no handoffs to someone who wasn't there.
We dispatch immediately. Fast arrival means less damage, shorter dry times, and a smaller claim.
Inspection is free. We scope the job before we start and tell you exactly what's needed and why.
We build the documentation package with the insurance adjuster in mind — photos, logs, moisture readings, equipment records.
The Team
Caleb on a job in Bakersfield.
IICRC S500 certified and based in Bakersfield. I spent years learning restoration on other people's jobs before I started KWDR. On every job, I'm the one onsite running it — extraction, drying, and the documentation your insurance adjuster will read.
