We Work Directly With Your Insurance

You focus on your home. We handle the documentation, the scope, and the back-and-forth with your carrier.

Built Around Your Claim From Day One

Most homeowners don't know what documentation their insurance carrier actually needs — and many restoration companies don't either. We do. Every job we run is documented with the adjuster in mind, from first photos to final drying report.

The Full Documentation Package

Photo Documentation

Every affected room, surface, and material photographed at intake and throughout the job using Encircle field software.

Moisture Logs

Daily moisture readings on all affected materials — walls, floors, ceilings — recorded with location, material type, and reading values over time.

Equipment Records

Serial numbers, placement locations, and daily run hours for every air mover and dehumidifier on your job.

Psychrometric Data

Temperature, relative humidity, and grain per pound readings taken at each monitoring session — the data adjusters ask for.

Scope of Work

A detailed written scope of all work performed, formatted for insurance review.

Final Dry Certificate

When materials reach dry standard, we document final readings and issue a signed drying completion report.

Insurance & Billing FAQ

Do I have to file the claim before you start?

No. We start work immediately to stop the damage from spreading. You can file during or after mitigation. Waiting to file should never mean waiting to mitigate.

Will my insurance cover this?

Most standard homeowner policies cover sudden and accidental water damage — burst pipes, appliance failures, and similar events. Slow leaks and flood damage (rising water) are typically handled differently. We can help you understand what's likely covered based on the cause.

Do you bill insurance directly?

Yes. We can bill your carrier directly and work within your claim. We'll coordinate with the adjuster on scope and documentation.

What if the adjuster disputes the scope?

Our documentation is built to prevent that. If a dispute arises, we have the photos, logs, moisture readings, and equipment records to support every line item.
